Police: Man Shot Trying To Buy Craigslist Car

So I came home from my basketball league game last night only to find the street and driveway into my apartment cut off. So I drove in through the side gate and then saw that the path and stairway to my apartment were cut off with caution tape. It was a crime scene. Man, I thought my apartment got burglarize. That's usually my first reaction since I have been robbed twice and my apartment stays fly. Anyway, to my relief that was not the case. So apparently, someone got shot in the surrounding area around 7:52 and wonder onto my complex looking for help. He was leaking blood on the sidewalk so they locked down the surrounding area for the investigation. I did a little research today and round the story. It was a craiglist robbery. Read story here, it was a setup from the get go. Victim wanted to purchase a vehicle, met up with the perp and the perp try to rob him. Some dread head, 300 pounds like 5'3 wearing colorful clothing, probably Coogi. That fool was a blob! took him over to the field by my house and pull a gun on dude. I think homie should have been privy to scam. Honestly, when doing craiglist's dealings, 1) its good if somebody accompanies you, like a friend. 2)Do dealings during the day. 3) Get as much information about either the sellers or buyer, which ever one you are. Anyway, that's my take. I'm out!

My Tax Dollars Gone To Waste

So I am on my way to go study at Sac Sate today and I'm stuck at the light on Northgate Blvd and Garden Highway. So I am looking at the corner and I see a cop, giving a a ticket to a transient who had a sign and was probably begging for some change or will work for food or something like that, I didn't get to see it-On top of that the Officer Senor Porky told him to tear up the sign and drop it on the ground-The light change and I drove off looking back wondering 1). Will the officer make him pick the torn up sign off the ground and throw it away? Mind u, there were no trash containers around. Or did the officer just contribute to littering? 2). Once the ticket is given to the man, is he expected to pay? Like really, what was or is the point? I'm sure the guy didnt have ID and may have far more accumalations of tickets that could equal warrents, who knows. In which, he could wind up in jail for begging. Just begging for change cause he was either down on his luck or lazy. Whatever, all I can assume is if he was not getting arrested, he wasnt a perp or suspect in anything-I mean dude may have been a eye soar but he is not bothering me and he is not in the way of traffic, why do I care?-I'd rather give him some change then see him steal it from somebody else. But what I don't want is- for him to go jail for unpaid tickets for panhandiling, when a rapist or white collar corporate embezellar or murderer could kindly take his place-and yes, I put the white collar criminal on the same level...raping my hard earn tax dollars and killing my pockets-just like that officer wasting my tax dollars so he can give a ticket to a begger-who probably won't be paying that ticket off-I mean that has to be for show-right? And what about the sign litter on the ground-if i drive by and see that sign there tomorrow or some other day-Then I will surely know my Tax Dollars have been wasted-no wonder we are in a deficit-I know, one does not really affect the other-but whatever it sounds nice!

More Than Just...

in my dreams, you more than, just exist
you're more than just some worldly wish,
you are my future, you are my man
my hot coco on a rainy day, you're
my chocolate M&M's, my Pecan Truffle,
my cold drink of water, on any thirsty day
in my dreams you are more than just my man
you're my love, my one day husband

My love puppy, my hope renewed
you're handsome smile, drives me wild,
the butter to my toast, the flames
that light my fire, you're the crown royal,
on top of my ice, I float in all that makes you

your smooth brown skin, your full sensual lips,
your strong hands and muscular build,
your natural warmth, your comforting hold,
Our love something only God can mold,
your swagger so bold, truth be told, you're
more than just my dream, you're a reality
I've seen, you're more than I imagined to complete me
you're more than, just...my man...

An Illusion of Confusion

Confusion, please let this just be an illusion
but reality brings to me with sincerity, not
clarity that what I see and what I feel is so
real...unimagined, unaware, what is it that
makes you have to be so...

Lacking, sent packing and all so you could
feel that what you've lost is just a thought
moved forward without finishing what
you started, before, and now you can't ignore

It's yesterdays past, but so strongly today's
present and on the past I wrote to you
a dear John letter that I thought would
bring light and make things bright
but the subject matter so tattered and
old it seems even more now so bold

because the things I share are not things
untold but things you've made my reality
when you made it a point to disappoint
yourself and more over me

I'm glad you see, & to not be she
as I know I don't have to compete
with uncertainty to this confusion that's
really not just an illusion
but an intrusion on my minds eye

for the heart never lies
and what was thought to be
an illusion is just your
confusion over chosen what's
really all just...simply put
a bold faced illusion

for you needed a conclusion...

The Obama Peace

Ive been working on this piece about Obama. Its pretty current to his campaign trails. Sort of a tribute to his trials and tribulations. Anyway, its been a rough piece to write I feel. I think it is because i ask alot of questions. I feel a little worried. Anyway, enough of that. Heres the piece! By the way for all you biters, this is my Intelektual Property.

Rough Draft#

The Obama peace

More like a piece of my mind

The sign of the times

Yet, I’m having trouble defining God’s Devine plan

Apprehensive, shell shocked, optimistic

Caught off guard, disbar from the current reality

A Black man for president

Winning the popular vote

Ever so casually,

Is alarming me…

Actually, it’ll be a cold day in hell

A bigot cracker utters

Under his breath

At a GOP convention

Full of evangelists

Who loves Christ but misinterpret his advice

Believe the Senator is Islamic

With the bump of his terrorist fist

That didn’t pledge allegiance

This so called elitist

The Bible belt

Is where they be breeding

Cease and desist

Dismiss fallacious racist

The O’Reillys conservative rightists

Faceless politicians fishing for our vote

Got me questioning tactics

Can’t take pictures with Muslims

In head wraps, just a misunderstanding

Yet still I feel sad

However, I understand the ramifications behind it

1 in 10 Americans believe he praises Allah and Muhammad

I wish we were religious and color blinded

The question of demonizing a faith hasn’t even been confronted

Still we got to clinch that vote

But being progressive is not without insult to injury

I guess you can’t be proud of progress

When we fear change

Shun hope

Lack prayer

I’m optimistic

But our country’s history of violence

Has been known to silence

The voice and limit choice

Buttons questioning whether

The White House will remain white

Passed out, on site at Republican Parties

Charades and antics on fox news tickers

Reporters snicker, as they call Michelle Obama a Baby mama

Political drama and smear campaigns

McCains wife labeling the intelligent sister from the Chi, unpatriotic

Words misconstrued, she’s a GOP target

No worries, the strong Black attorney just stated

Her opinions and arguments are valid

Fist bumps all around for the cast and crew for her point on the View

Brush the haters off just the way her husband do

As far as I’m concerned

Bush is the only curious George

A war monger, who wants to invade Iran

Another nuclear sham, I won’t fall for your so-called Wmd’s

Until one is pointing right at me

Excuse me, Mr.President please let’s just worry

About our energy policies

Our economy, jobs and mortgage rates

Tax breaks and stimulus checks

I need a little national insurance in order to get my pledge or respect

We neglect

Immigration and religious freedom

Civil rights, troop withdrawals, gun control and health care

National polls put Obama ahead of McCain

All the little Black kids proud to yell his name

Exclamations of wanting to be president when they grow up

But I’m a grown up

And I know the race isn’t sown up

Sabotage, assassination and conspiracies

Whispers their pessimistic thoughts to me

Elected, he may be the most critically acclaimed or criticized

Held to an esteem

Ridicule or impeached

Honored and magnificent

A magnitude off the scale

Can he bring peace to our streets

Or will they allow him to fail

If hes pro-Israel

Will there be another terrorist attack on American soil

Is he the Black Jimmy Carter?

A Black Kennedy, John or Robert

Our next martyr?

Am I asking too much?

Can he calm Iran or North Korea

Is he our nation’s savior

Is he King because I don’t think his Malcom

How much will he do for us?

Without them crucifying him for doing too much?

Yes I’m weary; I know Reverend Jeremiah Wright Jr. hears me

The only difference between us,

Is when and where,

We choose to voice our opinions

Without being an inconvenience to the brother’s electoral proceedings

I’m saying yes, I want Obama to get elected

I’m just protective

Concerned, It’s alarming to me

If he wins the reds states ever so casually

An African for President

I’m ecstatic you see!

Will he bridge that gap?

Backed by the popular vote

This is a piece of my mind

The Obama peace to world

Finding Love

It's the adoration, the adulation
the pure appreciation, the amorous
allegiance, oh, it's truly a weakness,
as this affection, this infatuation
this regard that makes
it wild for the tenderness,
the zeal, the sensations,
of devotion, the inclination,
to the fondness, that it's
rapture relishes in, to
respect this fidelity,
to be so real, in delight, all the
passion it feels, it's ardency
amity, its affection to the
sentiment, that is profoundly
tender to me
it's a feeling of warm deep affection
that I need, it's a requirement for
an intensely amorous incident to occur
to embrace or lock it in with
a kiss, it's more than just a wish
it's not just a passion with strong desire
but an affectionate concern to
never, not ever, to no extent
not even 2 a degree, absolutely be...
just understand it
for it's fact, yes it's true
not just something to apprehend clearly
let it be with certainty
Fixed in your mind let it create
a memory, with a need to be seen
because its no longer possessed or
retained to be led astray, maybe
turned away, bewildered to place
around not even a familiar face,
it missed the way, but here I'll stay...
waiting for love to be...

Words He Said, Words She Said...

His words said, that his love was true,
His words said, he was holding on tight,
to her heart, and would not let go,
without a fight...

His words said, don't love me,
his words said, don't want me,
His words completely, hostilely,
dismissed she, his words said
I don't want you to miss me...

His words said, he wanted
her to hurt, His words said
shut up to her heart, His words
said he didn't care, His words
bled pain, while her eyes shed

His words said don't honor me,
His words said he was hurt,
just not so liberally, nor directly
to she, His words said to leave
him alone, His words were
cold, they sent chills to the bone...

His words said they would not
apologize, His words said,
all that mattered was just a lie...

His words said he didn't complete her,
His words said finally...to get
away from him...

Her words said, Her heart was true,
Her words deepened, when her
eyes met you...

Her words said, TRUST me, I trust you,
Her words said, let me in,
I'll help heal you...

Her words said, I honor you,
Her words said with humility,
I dare you, you know I love you...

Her words said, she'll knock again,
Her words said, she'll knock, softly,
until you're comfortable, to let her in...

Her words said, she is more than patient,
Her words said, kindness reigns within...

Her words said, I forgive you,
her words plead, but she refused to beg...

Her words said, you are so strong,
Her words said, she's been hurt, too,
and the pain never last for long, Her words said,
she still wants, to pull closer to you...

Her words said, she will endure, the test
of time, even if you revert, and let the
clock rewind...

Her words simply said, to him...with a
a sincere, gentleness, as soft as, a kiss,
let me complete you...just let me in,
Her words she meant, so, she finished,
and the message was sent...
